To me, and many others, the best magazine for black & white photographer, meaning not more famous ones that are featured in more high-profile magazines, but the serious amateur, exhibiting or not. Founded long ago, Shots keeps getting better and better. A labor of love project that has been handled over the years by one editor handing the reins to another. The printing quality has jumped in the last decade or so also. Subscriptions to the magazine are now $59USD per year, with back issues selling for $14-17. Some of these are no longer available from the website. Local pickup only. Cash only.
