Now that I am past 70 we are putting our lovely Allied Seawind Ketch up for sale. She comes very well equipped. In the galley are double stainless sinks, a gimballed stainless propane range supplied by two aluminum propane bottles in a vented locker at the stern. There is an Aldler/Barbour cold machine powered insulated fridge and removable extra kitchen counter surfaces. Two large water tanks one forward the other amidships. Electric and Manual water pumps, Water maker. Lots of storage lockers. 4- man life raft, Epirb.
She sleeps 5 in two bunks in the forepeak and a double and a single at midships.
When the wind is gone she is easily pushed past 6kts. by her two cylinder Westerbeke diesel. At 5.5 knots she uses a 1/3 of a gallon of fuel an hour. Two bladed propellor for less drag while sailing.
The standing rigging uses Sta-Lok fittings and is only 6years old with only Summer lake sailing since then. All the running rigging was replaced at the same time. The primary winches are two speed, self tailing, Lewmar winches.
The ground tackle consists of a 25KG CQR with chain and rope rode and a Bahamian style anchor that can be disassembled also with chain and rope rode.
The VHF is a DSC type installed 3 years ago. There is also an Icom Marine SSB transceiver. Two compasses and a depth finder. The interior lighting is halogen plus two oil lamps.

The sails include a Genoa with reef points, a Storm jib, A Main sail with two reefs, a mizzen with one set of reefs and a Spinnaker. She sails quite fast, dry and stable owing to her great hull shape.
It was not needed but the hull was barrier coated in 2005. All marine Bronze through hull fittings.
