Queen size Latex topper which is 3" thick. I have used it for about a month (always under two thick covers). So it is almost new. I like Latex now so much that I have decided to buy a Latex mattress after trying this topper. The ILD rating of this topper which is the indication of its firmness is 36. I see online that some classify ILD 36 as 'firm' while others classify it as semi-firm. To me, it seems more like semi-firm. Laxtex materials have a different feeling compared to foam or memory foam.
Latex is an organic material made from a a special tree which far less likely to cause allergic reaction compared to foam. Latex is famous for its durability and keeping its properties and firmness for much longer than any foam hence they are more expensive than other types of mattress.
