Hours: 10:30am to 6:30 Monday to Friday
We are a small income tax office who needs help manning incoming calls, calling past clients to remind them it's time to prepare their current year tax return and receive clients as they walk into the office. There will also be some basic office work involved like filing and other small tasks needed to help run an office.
1 - Applicant must be fully bilingual in French and English. No exceptions.
2 - Patience. We have a lot of clients which means we encounter a lot of different personalities. And when you consider we prepare tax returns, a lot of people arrive nervous so our staff must be extra kind and patient. Our motto is "when a client come in to do a tax return, we make sure it's the best part of their day."
3 - A willingness to learn the basics regarding a tax return. A lot of people will call in with general questions regarding their tax returns, what slips are needed and the pricing. We'll be training the receptionist with the basics so they can answer these questions. We'll also provide a short guide book to help cover most questions. Any complicated tax questions will be passed along to a tax associate.
4 - Strong computer skills: Excel, Word
