Principal investigator: Dr. Maria Natasha Rajah

Description of the study: • Natasha Rajah’s laboratory is investigating how attention during memory encoding affects memory performance and brain function in healthy younger and older adults. In other words, Dr. Rajah’s laboratory is interested in understanding whether our attention levels when we study certain pictures influence the way we remember them and influence our brain activity. • We hope our results will improve our understanding of the influence of attention on memory, and how the role of attention on memory performance and brain activity change as we get older.
